Privacy Policy

Effective October 31, 2026 · Applies to the POVIKOO website and its early-access services.

POVIKOO is a user-generated video and written-story community. This policy describes the information the website collects, how it uses that information, and how you can contact us.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address, display name, and date of birth entered at registration. Authentication credentials and login sessions are handled by our authentication provider.
• Profile details: any bio, profile picture, or cover photo you choose to provide.
• Posts and community activity: video uploads, thumbnails, written stories, descriptions, comments, likes, follows, saved items, and reports.
• Technical information: device/browser information, IP addresses, access and security logs, and essential local browser storage used by service providers and POVIKOO to run and protect the website.

2. What is public

Your creator name, public profile details, published videos and stories, and public comments may be accessible to anyone visiting POVIKOO. Other members may also see public reactions and interactions. Your email and date of birth are not displayed as public profile fields. Please do not post private or sensitive information you do not want others to see.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, deliver published content, display profiles, enable community interactions, remember certain viewing settings, respond to reports, investigate abuse, maintain security, and operate and improve POVIKOO.

4. Services that process information

POVIKOO uses Supabase for authentication, application data, and some media storage, and Cloudflare for site delivery and certain video storage/streaming. Related providers may process technical information needed to provide their services. POVIKOO also loads application libraries from a content delivery network. External translation services are opened only when you choose that feature.

5. Browser storage and preferences

We use browser storage for sign-in state, interface language, Data Saver preferences, limited previews, and indicators of which followed creators' posts you have seen. Clearing browser data can reset these settings. Technical cookies or similar storage may also be used by providers for authentication and security.

6. Advertising and information sharing

POVIKOO's current early-access version does not include a third-party behavioral advertising system. We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers to run the platform, or when required to address abuse, legal obligations, or safety issues. Content you intentionally publish is shared publicly as described above.

7. Keeping and deleting information

We retain information as reasonably needed to run the service, address security and legal issues, and handle user requests. Deleted content may persist temporarily in backups or provider logs. We do not currently offer a self-service account deletion button. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information or your account. We may need to verify ownership and retain records where legally required.

8. Age requirements

POVIKOO's current account registration is limited to people 18 years and older. We do not knowingly offer account registration to minors. If you believe a minor has registered or information about a minor has been improperly shared, contact us promptly.

9. Security

We use access controls and service-provider security features, but no online service can promise absolute security. Use a unique password and avoid sharing sensitive information in public posts.

10. Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile, delete individual posts where offered, unfollow creators, and manage saved items. Depending on applicable law, additional privacy rights may apply. Contact us for assistance or questions.

11. Changes

We may revise this policy as POVIKOO evolves. We will update its effective date if we make changes. Material changes may require additional notice.
